EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION

This document is a formal response to the request received from UNDERWATER and it covers provision of Diving Equipment, always subject to availability, for surface supplied diving projects, including mix-gas diving.

  1. EQUIPMENT

All EQUIPMENT is IMCA Compliant. Assembled in accordance with Design Documents D023 &D340 and maintained according to IMCA D018 for the Initial and Periodic Examina-tion, testing and Certification of Diving Plant and Equipment.

  1. SURFACE SUPPLIED DIVING SYSTEMS

Our surface supplied diving systems are composed by two containers including diving control, DDC and ancillary equipment (compressors, air storage, hot water machine…).

Diving System 1 can only be used only with two containers. Systems 2 & 3 can be used as DDC/Dive control only (stand alone containers).  That means that we can provide 3 full systems or 1 full systems and 2 independent DDC and/or 2 independent dive controls.

DIVING SYSTEM 1 – Composed by two containers: HCSU100001 & HCSU100005.

DIVING SYSTEM 2 – Composed by two stand alone containers: HCSU100017 (dive

                                    control) & DDDU 344511 (DDC).

DIVING SYSTEM 3 - Composed by two stand alone containers: HCSU 100121 (dive

                                   control) & HCSU 100102 (DDC).

Each system is completed by a workshop/storage container.

Normally a full system is composed by three containers.

Data sheet of each system could be found, on following pages.

  1. LAUNCH AND RECOVERY SYSTEMS

We have 5 launch and recovery systems (LARS), three single units and two double units.

With double units, footprint is optimized reducing space need on deck.

HYDRA LR 50 A2 (3 units)

The LR 50 A2 is a 2-diver launch and recovery A frame. The A frame winch and hydraulic package includes a 1-ton divers winch with 80m of wire rope, and a 0,65-ton (1,3-ton double-reeved) guide wire winch with 160m of wire rope. Two independent hydraulic power packs are mounted under the winch skid and provide main and standby power requirements for the system.

Its footprint allows it to be shipped in a standard container.

HYDRA LR 50 A2T (1 unit)

The LR 50 A2T is a 2-diver launch and recovery A frame and a 3-diver standby recovery A frame all in one. The working divers are transported up and down in the inner basket with the 3-diver standby basket remaining in its standby mode. When needed, the standby basket is automatically configured for deployment (simply drop the floor and deploy). The winch and hydraulic package includes a 1,3-ton working divers winch with 80m of wire rope, a 1,95-ton standby divers winch with 80m of wire rope and a 1,3-ton (2,6-ton double-reeved) guide wire winch with 160m of wire rope. Three independent hydraulic power packs are mounted under the winch skid and provide main and standby power requirements for the system.

Its footprint allows it to be shipped in a standard container.

SMP Twin Basket Diver LARS

The Twin Basket Lars is a 2-diver launch and recovery A frame and a 3-diver standby recovery A frame in two different baskets. The working divers are transported up and down in one of the baskets with the 3-diver standby basket remaining in its standby mode. When needed, the standby basket can be deployed independently.

Left blank SCUBA REPLACEMENT BOATS (3 + 1 units)

We have two types of Scuba Replacement Boats (SRB).

Type 1 (3 units) is a 8,5 mts. High Speed Off-Shore Diving Workboat created for high performance in all conditions. The SRB 8.5 is delivered standard with reinforced high-density polyethylene (HDPE) hull structure.

The open style work deck and the powerful substructure provide a versatile heavy duty accessory platform.

Type 2 (1 unit) is a 7,5 mts Rigid Inflatable Boat adapted to fit diving needs and under Spanish flag.

  1. SCUBA REPLACEMENT PORTABLE (2 units)

A portable surface supplied system, commonly referred to as SCUBA replacement equipment, can, in certain circumstances, be used in place of a complete surface supply diving systems. Such systems have the advantage of being readily portable, thus offering greater flexibility during the diving operation, but are limited in the supply of breathing air available and in most cases are used for inspection work only but can be used for any type of underwater job up to -15 mts.
